However, the output is below 100 each year.
Now, in year 11, there are less than 1,000 Greubel Forsey watches out there, making them rare..very rare.
From my personal view, they allow very low margins to any retailer…hence you will get what you pay for.
Platinum versions, whether new, or used, they never get old…as they were made from ground up to withstand age and wear…platinums are almost unobtainable.
Imagine that the Rolex Daytona rainbow is so rare and expensive, at $300,000…these entry Greubel Foresees hit the collectors at $800,000 entry for a similar platinum and about $400,000 in any gold..entry!
The double 30 degree tourbillon within a tourbillon, is almost unobtainable in platinum, with less than 5 circulating the used auctions at close to a million dollars!
These watches are as close to art and engineering marriages as things will be.
