Some things I just wanna remember!

My real self and alter ego… And almost too much of a good thing, could hurt someone on the head…that’s a 12 kg steel sculpture! Delta Goodrem. I wanna post these to remember each and every star I had a chance to dance or talk to….even if it makes me a show off. It’s the memories…and if its any balance, most of their fans get much closer I guess! Not all, but many do.. That is a GREAT dinner joke I cannot repeat! Malaysian politics and Singaporean ecentrics…a good...

Being a General Practioner on an average day

The day begins at work at 9am. This has been so since my 2 dughters have grown up, and gone to the university. One, to study Medicine in the UK, and another doing a double degree in accountancy and business. Being a doctor, helps me to always put life first. Putting a patient’s interest before mine is MUCH easier for me. To be fair to my colleagues, I don’t work at all for any profit or to pay anything. ie I don’t work for a living. I work to see if one human being, myself, can be used as an experiment to see if doing good,...

A wristwatch when/if crafted with soul, these are but examples:

A wristwatch when/if crafted with soul, these are but examples:

First, keep them in perspective!A proper frame, like a box specifically made for watches is the best. The LV Trunk itself is a classic, and they do make one for 8 watches. This is ENOUGH.  The lining has to be superb and faultlessly clean and of the RIGHT colour. The material is scractproof felt. The box, as well crafted as the contents. The appear here in chronological order, as I starved, lost weight, got ill, in fact…climbed mountains to get them. The ANTIQUA from 1998. The IWC Squelette repeater, laughed at by repeater collectors, for...

Today’s Birkins seem not to be able to be as good when it comes to sharpness, coloring borders, stiches.

Today’s Birkins seem not to be able to be as good when it comes to sharpness, coloring borders, stiches.

Look at the edges, and let what you see tell you about how leathers are not handled as well. One could say that the blue is SWIFT leather, but below, I have pics of my 2011 Birkin, red, in CEMENCE. Look at how CLEMENCE leather ages so well, and how good the old work used to be.Trouble is that finding pristine bags are almost impossible, and I am NOT selling mine!  Look at this 1967 bag, and the stitches, how the leathers are not pulled too tight!Look at how sharp the edges are. This bag is OLDER than most readers!I use it to the clinic almost...

Birkins and wristwatches

It may seem that the hard earned repute of Hermes stitch is threatened by lesser work experience with the leathers. I have noticed much more error and less “sharpness” in edges. I have Birkins which are well worned, with patina of age, looking graceful and elegant. They retained sharp corners and excellent stitch regularity in pressure and taughtness in the way the stict pulls around the leather. ALL DONE BY HAND. To a person like me, I will use Birkins to illustrate what I mean by long lasting good work.Imagine watches, made so...

AskMen is an interesting site, the title may not be something we want to do.

Even as a doctor, a real one, who watches “life” and collects time…I won’t usually ask men, but rather women, the wise ones and the streetwise ones, especially women with years of life behind them. Like my wife and a few of her friends. But this article is about my own interview with AskMen about…”Expensive Watches” what else yah? So click here: http://www.askmen.com/entertainment/better_look_3800/3801_the-most-expensive-watches.html...
